Sarah and Steven Brooks’ newborn son, Stevie, was born with a severe lung infection and transferred to the NICU at Yale New Haven Hospital. With their home over an hour away, the Ronald McDonald House provided them a place to stay near the hospital, allowing constant access to their baby and his care team.
